On March 17, the Government of Canada along with Carbon Management Canada announced a joint-investment totalling nearly $1.2 million in a new, three-year coal-gasification research project. University of Saskatchewan researchers will design and test new catalytic gasifier technology with support from key researchers at the University of Regina and the International Test Centre for CO2 Capture.
